Wassim A. El-Harake, MD, is a 1989-graduate of the Universite Mohammed V Souissi De Rabat Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy from Rabat, Morocco. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his internal medicine residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland (1991-1994). He then advanced his training through his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, which he conducted at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, Il (1994-1996). Dr. El-Harake attained board certification in internal medicine and the subspecialty of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
